Due to the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic and resulting restrictions which have been put in place, King’s College London staff and postgraduate research students are likely to be experiencing disruption and upheaval in many aspects of their lives. Staff and postgraduate research students at King’s are therefore invited to participate in KCL CHECK, a research study seeking to understand the impact of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic on the King’s community.
The study consists of a series of surveys about physical health, mental wellbeing, personal experiences with COVID-19 (coronavirus), and any resulting work and lifestyle changes. Participants will be prompted to complete some of these surveys multiple times over the coming months to help us look for changes over time as the situation develops. Participants may also have the opportunity to receive a home testing kit to ascertain whether they are currently or have been infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus).
As well as providing critical insights into the wide impacts of COVID-19 (coronavirus), the findings of this study will help the university to understand the challenges being faced by the King’s community and to offer support accordingly.
Participation in KCL CHECK is completely voluntary, and any data you provide will only be identifiable to the immediate research team. Other employers and authority figures will not be given access to any identifiable information.
If you are a member of staff or a postgraduate research student at King’s College London and would like to take part and have not been contacted, please use the contact details below to get in touch and ask for a survey link.
